Hurghada Grand Aquarium “Red Sea  in Glass” aims to inspire guests of all ages to appreciate the marine environment while promoting conservation efforts and developing an understanding of the irreplaceable value of all life in our world’s oceans. By teaching children and adults the importance of conservation, ecology and responsibility, we believe they will apply this knowledge to make sustainable choices and actively participate in conserving our marine environment.

OPENING HOURS

The aquarium is  open daily, 7  days a week from  9:00 a.m.  to  7:00  p.m., with last entry at  5:00  p.m. The tour lasts 1 to 2 hours. There is no limit on the length of stay, you can stay longer.

Shark feeding plan

Daily  shark feeding times  are  11:00 a.m.  to  12:00  p.m. and  3:00 p.m.  to  4:00  p.m. Please note that  feeding times  may change without prior notice depending on the behavior of the species.

Process:

1. We will pick you up privately from the hotel if you wish, it is available until 7:00 p.m., there is no fixed time to visit the aquarium, you can come at any time during opening hours.
2. You will then receive the tickets from us.
3. The  ticket  includes entry to the  aquarium, zoo, rainforest, suspension bridge, shark feeding show and Wadi al-Hitan Museum .
4. Shark feeding schedule: daily shark feeding times are 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please note that feeding times may change without prior notice depending on the behavior of the species.
5. Grand Aquarium  is not a guided tour. This is a self-guided tour. You follow the  instructions  and  signs  in the  aquarium  .
6. The  aquarium  is suitable for all ages.
7. A  wheelchair  is not available, however there are benches at corners throughout the facility for older people to rest and rest.

Remarks:

You can take photos with your phone, but aquarium fish are very sensitive to the lighting conditions around them. The use of camera flashes is not permitted. All cameras used by our photographer on site are equipped with a flash defuser. Professional cameras without flash defusing may not be used or brought into the facility. Appropriate fees apply for professional cameras. For information about costs, please contact our photography office.

Pay:

1. Payment is made in cash upon pickup from the hotel. You can pay in either € or $.
2. Taxes and insurance are included in the price.
3. For a transfer outside Hurghada there is a surcharge of 5 euros per person. (Elgouna – Sahl Hasheesh – Makadi Bay – Soma Bay and Safaga).
